PUBLIC SUBMITTED INFORMATION

1960 - Gravely Tractors Inc was acquired by Studebaker.

1967 - Studebaker merged with Worthington Corp. and formed Studebaker-Worthington Corp.

1970 - Gravely merged with Studebaker's Clarke Division, a manufacturer of floor maintenance machinery, and was incorporated as Clarke-Gravely Corp.

1979 - Studebaker, including Clarke-Gravely Corp. was acquired by McGraw Edison.

1982 - McGraw Edison was acquired by Cooper Industries. Cooper retained the Clarke portion of the corporation, but Gravely was sold off to Ariens Company, the current owner. Info furnished by Chip Hill, Chip Old feold3@bcpl.net
